The SUELO Field Guide is your guidebook to the SUELO Methodology, authored and designed by Ela Spalding of Estudio Nuboso to reconnect with the places we inhabit through soil as sustenance, home, land, ecosystems and territory. SUELO helps you design your own path of inquiry, tap into the natural and cultural value of a selected place, create networks of collaborative solidarity, and engage in regenerative practices for a better present and possible futures. ORDER A COPY OR PDF HERE.
It is based on a project initiated with Estudio Nuboso in Panama back in 2014. Over the years it has become a tool for people to use in their own contexts. Individuals and organizations have connected with places and produced artworks, community-based projects, experiences and publications, among others.
Ela offers a course (coming soon) and personalized support to people or organizations interested in practicing SUELO in their own contexts. Just write to connect@elaspalding.com
